Adding Multi-Factor Authentication to your Account
Multi-factor authentication can be enforced across the firm, or set at the account level, for added security when accessing Litera Transact.
To add multi-factor authentication to your own account:
- Click your name in the top right and select Account Settings.
- Select Multi-Factor Authentication in the left panel.
- Click Enable Multi-Factor Authentication.
- Click Download Codes. Recovery codes are saved to litera_transact_recovery_codes.txt which you can find in your downloads folder. Recovery codes are used if you have problems accessing MFA codes.
- Click Next.
-
Open your MFA app on your phone and scan the barcode image displayed in Litera Transact.
Note: If you don’t have an authentication app, we recommend using Google Authenticator or Authy. - Your MFA app will display a 6-digit code which you should enter into the field below the barcode image.
- Click Enable.
Now after you log in to Litera Transact with your email and password credentials, you will also have to enter a code from your MFA app.
